We’re Hiring!

We’re looking for:
Statewide Organizers
Paid Interns

Statewide Organizer

Part-Time (10-30 hours per week depending on available work)

Location: Remote, but must reside in Pennsylvania. Flexible hours.

Compensation: $15 per hour

HealthCare4AllPA educates and advocates for a single-payer solution with a statewide network of allies. We lobby our local, state and federal elected officials to listen to the people and fight for real healthcare justice. Our primary campaign is a statewide, county by county organizing effort to find single-payer and Medicare for All supporters in all 67 counties of Pennsylvania. Our goal is to create teams in each county and help them build relationships in their communities with their neighbors, elected officials, and neighboring teams. We are using a small organizing practice to build local power in each county. We plan to decentralize and distribute our organizing so that members and individual counties can build power locally.

We are looking for talented organizers and campaigners to help us mobilize single-payer and Medicare for All support across Pennsylvania. Working with a remote team, Statewide Organizers will do the crucial work to research, identify, and activate support in every single county. Organizers will:

  • Prepare research documents on target locations
  • Locate supportive prospective, current and previous members
  • Engage in deep organizing via 1-on-1 meetings over video chat, phone call and in-person
  • Maintain member relationships and make regular asks of members and supporters
  • Give education and organizing presentations with the support of leadership staff
  • Plan, promote, and host events with local coalition partners to maximize attendance
  • Build a true Medicare for All movement in PA with a team dedicated to results: a single-payer Medicare for All in Pennsylvania and the United States
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, including ability to engage people
  • Be a low ego-high impact team builder and connect with many different  communities
  • Have clear verbal and written communication skills, especially over digital chat apps
  • Familiarity with and ability to use computer technology, social media and database tools
  • Function independently in scheduling time and organizing and prioritizing tasks, etc.
  • Be extremely organized and able to keep track of many documents and communications

How to Apply:

Submit a cover letter with a statement of interest and your qualifications for the position and a resume via email to noah@bslldkh.cn. Please include at least 3 references
